My current work explores emotional fragmentation, memory, and reconstruction through collage-based abstract processes. Working primarily with oil paint and pastel, I create layered compositions that move between structure and disorientation, often obscuring and revealing imagery simultaneously. I am interested in the tension between opposing emotional states, while allowing them to coexist within a single visual space.

My practice begins intuitively. Rather than working from literal narrative, I allow color relationships, forms, and material interactions to guide the construction of each piece. I use color as an emotional language capable of communicating experiences that resist direct verbal expression.

Collage remains central to my practice and identity as an artist. I combine disparate forms and textures into unexpected compositions that reflect the fractured nature of memory and selfhood. The physicality of oil paint and pastel is especially important to me because their contrasting textures allow me to erase, reconstruct, and disrupt surfaces repeatedly throughout the making process.
